What is Oh! Comics Fest?

Oh! Comics Fest is a gathering of fans and professionals of alternative comics, self-publishing, and fanzines.

A festival that offers a space for creators and small publishers to showcase and share their publications, accompanied by a program of activities that includes comic book presentations, panel discussions, author meet-and-greets, live podcasts, and open workshops.

We propose a complete cultural experience, where exchange, reflection and creation are the central focus of the event.

We also aim to recover and disseminate the history of fanzines and self-publishing by creating exhibitions and talks that reveal their evolution and impact on our history.

An unmissable event for those who enjoy creating and reading comics and fanzines.

Our philosophy

We believe in self-publishing as a space of freedom, in the fanzine as a cultural tool, and in face-to-face meetings as a driving force for community.

Oh! Comics Fest was created to give visibility to proposals that do not always find their place, and to celebrate the diversity of forms, voices and stories in comics.

Who organizes it?

Oh! Comics Fest is the result of the evolution of a previous, more pluralistic event, Atom Fast Market, a project that, after three editions, gave way to the alternative comic and fanzine festival that we know today.

Behind its foundation and organization is Bouman Studios, with more than a decade of experience in organizing events, presentations and more; in 2026 it was established as the Cultural Association Amigos Raros.

Amigos Raros is a non-profit association that works to create and maintain free and accessible spaces for new creators and promotes the culture of self-publishing, exchange and original and independent creation.
