«Heavies Tendres» with Juanjo Sáez

Among the new initiatives at Oh! Comics Fest, we’ll be hosting a pre-event activity where you can enjoy a comic-related film screening. In collaboration with La Productora de Juanjo Sáez, this year we’ll screen the animated film “Heavies Tendres” at the Centre Cívic Can Clariana Cultural (c/ Felip II, 222), followed by a discussion with the filmmaker.

Juanjo is a boy with asthma who has lived under his family’s overprotective wing to the point of suffocation. Miquel, on the other hand, comes from a family with an absent father. His mother tries to make ends meet on her own, but she doesn’t always succeed. “Heavies Tendres” is about the relationship between Juanjo and Miquel, two teenage boys in Barcelona in 1991 who find refuge from the gray world they live in through their friendship and heavy metal music.

The event will take place on Tuesday, September 29, at 7:00 p.m.
